When a lawn becomes thin, damaged,
or dies, it is then time for
revitalization services.
Determining the cause of the lawn
decline is the first step in the
lawn renovation process. Many lawn
problems originate from poor soil
conditions including compaction,
lack of sunlight and quite often
improperly functioning
irrigation systems. There are
several other issues your turf may
have, however for every problem
there is a solution
Whatever the problem you can be
certain that Rob Paton will give you a
step by step plan of how to bring your
lawn back to the level you desire. As I
mentioned above a vital part of the
solution is to make sure your sprinkler
system is working optimally. I will make
the necessary adjustments through the
“Sprinkler Service Plan” we now offer.
Depending on what the problem is the
revitalization process could quite some
time to be corrected. I will provide you
that plan with a time frame of what to
expect from my services.
A professional soil analysis can
provide you with a complete analysis of
your TURF, to determine how to
rejuvenate a poor lawn.
Machine seeding---This is the
process of slicing rows into your turf and dropping seeds into those
crevices by machine. The lawn shown in the “before” picture was
covered with Zoysia grass which the customers wanted replaced with a
bluegrass lawn. We completely killed off the area, de-thatched and
machine seeded the area in September of 2005. The sprinkler system
was adjusted and the timer re-programmed.
